The first of two half marathon race events in what has become the Atlantic City Marathon Race Series .

The second takes place in October, with the running of the Atlantic City Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K & 5K .

Mayfest at Historic Smithville offers an abundance of family fun! On May 18 and 19 from 10am-5pm

Le Tour de Downbeach ~ Sunday June 9th 

Ventnor, Margate, New Jersey:  Sunday, June 2 (rain date June 9). This year, a donation will be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in memory of one of Le Tour’s original organizers, Ann Marie Wiesen. Starting behind the Ventnor Library, the family ride is a chance to enjoy the beauty of our seaside communities. The family friendly 14-mile bicycle tour begins each year in Ventnor and travels through Atlantic City (turn around at Kennedy Plaza), Margate and Longport and ending with a barbecue at Tomatoe’s restaurant on Amherst Ave. in Margate.

Margate Duck Derby` A Floating Quack-a-Palooza

May The Best Bird Win!

Activities will begin at 11 a.m. along the Margate City Municipal Pier on Washington and Amherst avenues, with the derby beginning at approximately 11:30 a.m. Guests can watch the ducks race to the finish line from the pier.

Children will be able to try their luck in the Duck Chuck, Quack in the Hole, Fishin’ for Fowl games and other fun activities. Prizes will be awarded.
